Remembering and Honoring Cpt Broxterman and FF Schira
For those of you not on the CloseCall/NearMiss lists, or if you haven't found the time to read it, I just wanted to pass along the link to the NIOSH report resulting from the investigation into the fire in Colerain Township that led to the deaths of Cpt Broxterman and FF Schira. It was passed around work today at the com center, mostly because a lot of the people I work with on 1st shift were at work that day, but also because it sheds some light on what happened, and what we can do to prevent it from happening again.
