nashvillian update

Get it? Nashvillian? Nashville? Yeah.

Anyway... I'm updating from the couch in Emily's apartment. It's kinda nice sitting around here with Emmy and her roomies. Everyone is in such a good mood tonight, and I like being a part of her life here in Nashville. (I'd much rather it were at home in cincinnati, though.... heh)

So this weekend has been pretty awesome! The main reason for coming to Nashville was for Emily's semi-formal at Delta Gamma. It was my first college formal dance, and I had SOOO much fun. I know I'm not so good at dancing, but I still had lots of fun with my baby, and even though I can't dance, she still laughs with me. We had lots of fun dinners too... we ate at the Rainforest Cafe, and then before semi-formal was at this place called Bricktops which was deee-licious. Then tonight Emmy and I got bbq at C.T.West here in her dorm.

Basically, this has just been a fun-packed weekend, and I am *so* glad I took another day off on Monday so I can stay in town again tonight and have lunch with my baby one more time before I go home.

Best of all, I'm sitting RIGHT NEXT TO Emily while I write this post, so I feel EXTRA happy right now. :)

Oh and p.s. - I get my promise ring back from the jeweler tomorrow and hopefully it will be the perfect size for me!
