resolutions, it's also something I've never really done before. So,
I've got a couple things in mind, but I don't think I'm gonna share
them here. They're a bit more personal than the usual "I'm gonna use
less energy", or "I'm gonna lose weight" resolutions everybody always
makes. (Although, those are good ideas....)
No, I'm actually writing this post because I want to talk about how
much I'm glad that 2006 will be done and gone. It was, for the most
part, a pretty dismal year. There were a lot of good times, but I
think that for the first time since high school, 2006 had more bad
than good in it. Judging by what I can see from here, 2007 is looking
to be a lot friendlier, and I'm starting out on it with Rachel, which
makes me really optimistic.
Anyway, I guess I really just wanted to say, happy new year,
everybody. Thanks for sticking with me through all the bullshit in
years past, and whatever else there is to come. I hope that 2007
proves to be a fantastic year for all of us, and you're all in my
thoughts tonight as we tick away the minutes down to a new year.
